We just wanted to confirm there are no charges for the online classes at SSS. We don't feel we can correct you the same as we could in a class environment. However we want everyone to still have the opportunity to dance plus via Zoom we get to see all the faces we are missing too. It's a great way for us all to stay connected at the moment. THE BIG DISNEY NIGHT IN KIDS EDITION
Congratulations to Hannah Ryder and Maisie Watts for successfully auditioning for the 'Big Disney Night In Kids Edition'. It was an online concert and it was wonderful to get the chance to watch these girls sing. They were just amazing, as always!
SSS @ DISNEYLAND PARIS
SSS has danced at Diseyland Paris three times now, each time has created memories that will last forever. We love our trips with our SSS family and cannot wait to plan some more as soon as we can! How lovely to look back at these wonderful performances and cheer us all up while we can't be together.

Lyndan has only gone and done it again! He went to audition for Bird College last week and was offered a place on the day to start training on their 3 year BA course in September. Big decisions to make. Well done Lyndan!
BEAUTIFUL THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL UK TOUR
Feeling very proud! The first week of March former SSS pupil Laura Baldwin 'wowed' the audience at the Alhambra Theatre Bradford in the UK tour of Beautiful - The Carole King Musical. Laura played the part of Cynthia Weil. Everyone loved the show and Laura was as amazing as ever!

VERONICA TWEEDALE AWARD WINNER
Wow! Elaina has won the Veronica Tweedale Award and was the runner up for the ballet grades at the IDTA Dance Awards. Such an amazing achievement for this dedicated and talented girl. We are so proud of you!!
IDTA DANCE AWARDS 2020
This Saturday Bailey Cook and Elaina Varazinski attended the IDTA Dance Awards at RNCM Manchester after receiving a nomination following their Ballet Examination. Both girls danced beautifully and it is such an achievement to be invited to attend, well done girls.
JOSEPH AND HIS TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT @ BRADFORD ALHAMBRA
Well done to all our pupils who perfomred beautifully in the UK tour of 'Joseph and His Technicolor Dreamcoat' at Bradford Alhambra this Februrary, forming the Jospeh choir. As always the kids had a brilliant time and we are so proud to recieve amazing feedback about our students.
'CELEBRATION OF YOUTH' AT THE GLOBE THEATRE, BLACKPOOL PLEASURE BEACH
Some of our very lucky pupils will be performing at the amazing and unique Globe Theatre at Blackpool pleausre Beach on Sunday 29th March. Our children with a number of other schools based in the North will be hoping to raise lots of money for The Brain Tumour Charity. Rehearsals will start shortly and we are excited as this is always a wonderful day and event!
'The Goes Wrong Show' BBC ONE
Well done to former SSS pupil Jonathan Sayer who's newest show was aired on BBC ONE on Friday, 'The Goes Wrong Show'. What an achievement, he currently has four of the shows he wrote running in the West End; "Magic Goes Wrong, 'Groan Ups' 'The Comedy about a Bank Robbery' and ' The Play that Goes Wrong' which also ran on Broadway.

LAMDA Drama Examinations
A big well done to all the SSS students who took part in our LAMDA Drama examinations. We have no doubt you all did brilliant, and the examiners will have loved your drama pieces and poems. Results will be in soon and we have another session in February.

'GROAN UPS' OPENS IN THE WEST END
Congratulations to former SSS student Jonathan Sayer who's latest play 'Groan Ups' opened in London's West End last week. Jonathan currently has three plays he wrote running in London! What a huge acheievment!!

It's been an emotional few weeks here at SSS as some of our lovely students who have been with us since they were 2, have moved on to dance college and Universities. Alexa has started her 3 year course at Bodyworks Dance Company, Cambridge where she is studying with a DADA Scholarship. Lucas, Eve and Grace are studying at Sheffield, Nottingham and Edge Hill Universities. We also have our very own 'Elle Woods in Caty who has just started at Cambridge. We are going to miss you all so much X
GOOD LUCK FOR ALL THE SSS ASSOCIATES
September sees the start of all the prestigious associate schemes our talented SSS pupils have gained places with. Firstly Evie and Sadie started with the Royal Ballet School Junior Associates, Elaina will continue her training with them also as a Mid Associate. Maddy, Fabian and Bailey have returned to the Northern Ballet Associates this weekend, and Hannah will be joining them starting her first class this Friday. Then on Saturday the York Scholar Dance associates started. Maddy, Maddie, Hannah and Orla had a wonderful time. Well done to our lovely boys and girls, we have no doubt they will love teaching you all as much as we do!!
